1. La Digue at Noon The Indian Ocean has many cultural experiences to offer, yet most people immediately associate turquoise warm waters and remote islands with the smallest of the major seas. Interestingly, most islands are rather close to the Indian sub-continent or Africa; they can be reached easily within a few flight hours. The Seychelles consist of some of the most expensive and exclusive archipelagos on earth. While the outer island groups are rather inaccessible to those without private jets or helicopters, the three main inner islands of Mahé, Praslin and La Digue offer everything the area is famous for and invite to be explored.
