Swanbourne-Nedlands Perth's posh suburbs Cottesloe, Swanbourne and Nedlands are what Australian dreams are made of: More than anywhere else on the Fifth Continent will you find rich people in search of a great and relaxed lifestyle building fancy houses right on the beach. Fortunately, everything still is rather low-key, with plenty of space for sunseekers to spread out. If you fancy crowds and coffee bars then Cottesloe is the place for you but if you prefer wide-open spaces, perhaps with a bit of nudism mixed into the picture, then just head a few minutes north to the gem that is the public beach of Swanbourne-Nedlands.
