Recent explorations:
How about short intercontinental adventures?
I can't always make it around the world if I only have two or three weeks available (even though I have
been known to insert a little three-week around-the-world thing into my Australia stay last March).
Action-packed short vacations with me still cover quite some ground, so read up on my
quick trips during the past three years.

For the fall of 2006, I am thinking about some major island hopping in Micronesia.
With Guam as a base, I plan to visit Northern Mariana (Rota, Saipan), Micronesia (Yap, Truk, Kosrae, Pohnpei), Palau (Koror)
and the Marshall Islands (Majuro, Kwajalejn).
