1. Call of the Wild
To experience Africa is to meet its people and animals. Chobe National Park in Botswana is a wonderland
for all people who only know exotic animals from their childhood days spent in zoos. I checked off 4 of the Big 5
within my first 20 minutes of a river safari (sure enough, the elusive and night-active leopard didn't co-operate),
had a close encounter with two pretty lionesses, watched in amazement at galloping herds of giraffes, and was
almost run over by just about every other animal that is supposed to be in Africa - monkeys, elephants,
rhinos, zebras, cheetahs, to name a few. About 10,000 Kodak Moments every day...
