1. The Navimag Cruise The freighter Magallanes is somewhat of an insider tip among independent travellers to South America - rightfully so! Four days through Chile's fjords of Patagonia from Puerto Montt to Puerto Natales with about 100 other backpackers through rugged nature and wild weather are a memorable experience. Dusky dolphins chasing the bow waves, extremely narrow passages for a ship this size, mystical thick clouds, a visit to the remote fishing village of Eden... just pure relaxing fun.
