1. Cockpit Ride Still can't believe it worked. I whipped out my FAA Pilot License and the captain allowed me to join him in the cockpit of this Saab 340 en route to my Number 1 island in the entire South Pacific, the Aitutaki atoll with its gigantic lagoon, about an hour north of Rarotonga, Cook Islands. Now from there you have a view when approaching the outer reefs... that's how I spotted my sand bank off One Foot Island, the famous motu in the southern part of the lagoon.
