Waking up on Savai'i There's something you don't see here - I am actually still in bed, just taking a peek at the spectacular morning scenery from my over-the-water suite about 15 feet (5 meters) high up. Savai'i, the western of the two main islands of (Independent or Western) Samoa, is a lush paradise boasting tall rainforests and pretty Samoan villages with their typical open houses.
