1. Waking up on Savai'i
There's something you don't see here - I am actually still in bed, just taking a peek at the spectacular
morning scenery from my over-the-water suite about 15 feet (5 meters) high up. Savai'i, the western of the two main
islands of (Independent or Western) Samoa, is a lush paradise boasting tall rainforests and pretty Samoan
villages with their typical open houses. It's beaches are nothing to write home about but the scenery and the friendly
people sure make up for it.

2. Moai on Easter Island
Likely to be the most magical place I have seen all year. The fiery red sunsets behind those mystical
statues are nothing short of breathtaking.

Lifuka, main island of the central Ha'apai group in the Kingdom of Tonga, will always be remembered for the
beautiful singing by its people.

6. Dinner in Perth
Old friends took me atop the AEP Tower to its swanky bar and restaurant for my last night. Nice looking Bank
West building!

You have to get up early to enjoy an adventurous walking safari in Kruger National Park, South Africa.

8. Rush Hour
A view to make up for London Heathrow's status as a really ugly airport - this plane would end up being
replaced after 3 hours with us on the tarmac.

9. Sydney Harbor
Strolling through the park towards Point Macquarie, one can admire great views of the Sydney Opera House
flanked by the Sydney Harbor Bridge.

10. Greek History
Naxos has some of the finest beaches in all the Cyclades but this wouldn't be Greece without the ruins of a temple!
